Hot on the heels of the final Introduction to MojoWorld 3.0 Weekend Vox sessions, here's a Mega-challenge for all you Mojonauts!
The Challenge is open to MojoWorld 3.0 Standard/Professional users and the aim is to create a new Mojoworld image (masterpiece). The Mega part is because you have a month to do this and there are certain tasks you need to complete.
How to Join
In order to register your participation you need to start a New Topic in the Mojovox area of the Mojoworld.org forums. For the Subject header of your Topic, use the string "MJW3 Mega-C" followed by your name and finally the string "WIP" after it. (The acronym WIP stands for Work In Progress.)

Once you've got that done your entry into the challenge is official. You can now move on to generating your own artwork and fulfilling the simple criteria.
First Requirement - A Design Concept
To begin with we ask that you submit a sketch/written description or even a piece of artwork by someone else which clearly shows what you intend to produce using Mojoworld. This concept part is the place to show the finished look of the image and also to outline how you will fullfill the other criteria by making clear how you will include each requirement in your finished artwork. Those requirements are:
Fulfilling Each Requirement
For each criteria its expected that you will post updates to your WIP thread at Mojoworld.org showing details of the actions you took. In this way the thread online will become a step by step guide to what you did during the challenge and demonstrate clearly how you fullfilled the different criteria as you progressed. At least one entry for each required element:
You start a new message in the Mojovox section at the Mojoworld.org forums. Use a topic header of "MJW3 Mega-C" followed with your name followed by "WIP." Next you post some form of description of what you intend to create in MojoWorld. This could be a sketch, a piece of text or even an existing image - but one which you intend to reproduce using MojoWorld now. From then on it's up to you to post updates on your progress in your own WIP thread.
You may post as many WIPs as you like. You can also use your WIP thread to get assistance and/or feedback from others if you want it. Anyone, even those who do not have their own WIP thread, is welcome to post responses to questions in the various WIP threads.

Dates And Voting
The Challenge will start 7th March 19.00 UTC and finish 7th April 2005 19.00 UTC. Voting will take place from 8th April 19.00 UTC to 12th April 19.00 UTC via a poll which will be setup in the Mojovox section of Mojoworld.org forums.
The idea is to produce the best image using all the key areas covered in the sessions. Voting will be on the the best image produced using imported meshes, boulders and photobillboards. Its the quality of the finished image thats important and how well it displays use of the essential elements.
The three winners will have their names and images displayed in the main Pandromeda gallery and their WIP threads will be converted to walkthroughs showing step by step how to create great pictures in MojoWorld 3.0 (Entry into this Mega-Challenge automatically entails permission to utilise information from the WIP threads in the way just stated.)
